August 2011: Calverton Manor

MK Surveys project features on Episode 5 of the BBC2 program ‘Restoration Home’.
Calverton Manor is a collage of different architectural styles with parts thought to date back as far as the 14th century. And it comes with its very own legend involving a rich widow, the local butcher, pots of gold and murder.
MK Surveys provided the owners David and Jeannette Lock with the detailed measured building survey, floor plans, elevations and cross sections that informed their restoration and provided a base on which to record the past as their renovation unearthed the buildings secret past.

May 2011: Worcester Greenfields

Following a successful tender. MK Surveys have been commissioned to carry out Topographical and Watercourse Surveys across a 400 acre Greenfield site on the outskirts of Worcester. The survey covers an area of mixed use agricultural land, 8 km of associated highways and 7 km of watercourse. The large and complex survey is being undertaken by three survey teams and managed from our Kidderminster office.

Jan 2011: MK Surveys Water Tower Surveys

MK Surveys were commisioned by Veolia Water to undertake measured surveys of 48 Water Towers. To celebrate the completion of the works we thought we would create a further drawing showing all 48 of the Veolia Water Tower elevations. All elevations are to the same scale to give an idea of their proportions.
